Dear Dennis & Ricardo, Our little East San Diego County Jeeping group,"The Herd of Turtles," had such a memorable, wonderful time on Aug. 21st getting to meet you both at Ricardo's shop in Perris. The hospitality and genuine friendliness of Ricardo, you, and Ricardo's friends who served such a delicious lunch, was unforgetable. We've enjoyed and admired your many awesome sculptures scattered throughout Borrego Springs for quite some time. We love to drive our Jeeps and other vehicles out to see them. I was so pleased to be able to present you and Ricardo photos in appreciation of the fun times we've had interacting with those mammoth creations. We never miss a chance to introduce others to the fantastic collection. We winter in the south & have been to Borrego Springs a couple of times over the years, mostly to enjoy the desert flowers. It was a pleasant surprise to find the statues; however, had I not stopped at a garage sale I would not have had the story. Thanks for the unique display.
